The Mammoth-Yosemite airport (MMH) is just outside of town. Flights through United are offered a few times a week mid-April thru November and daily during the winter ski season. It is worth noting that flights do get cancelled frequently due to high winds.
Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO) is 166 miles (approx. 3 hour drive) north of Mammoth Lakes, CA.
Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is 315 miles (approx. 6 hour drive) south of Mammoth Lakes, CA.
Eastern Sierra Transit offers transportation from the Reno-Tahoe International Airport to various stops along 395 in the Eastern Sierra.
If you are flying into LAX, getting here by bus is doable and outlined on Mammoth Lakes Visitor Page.
Eastern Sierra Transit also has a FREE bus service in the town of Mammoth Lakes. There is a bus stop steps from the classroom we typically use.
