EMT Program

We are in the process of recruiting EMT instructors for the hybrid EMT program. Instruction will be hands-on based using a combination of approaches to get students to a proficient level with respect to skills and critical thinking. The didactic portion is being handled asynchronously online. In-person instruction will be focused on facilitating drills and debriefs and demoing skills and providing opportunities for practice.

EMT Course Description

Instructors will be working with Brigitte Denton (Steinmetz). She will be working with instructors to improve their teaching skills and help build a bag of tools for this type of hybrid programming. People who are interested in instructing will have opportunities to build their teaching portfolio and progress toward lead status if they do not meet the minimum requirements.

If you are not interested in teaching regularly but would like to be on the “sub list”, we encourage you to apply.
